About Ro2 Art

Yuni Lee
Tides of Equilibrium

May 16 – June 14, 2026

Yuni Lee, Data Bloom, 2026, mixed media on canvas, 60 × 144 in

Ro2 Art is proud to present Tides of Equilibrium, a solo exhibition of new work by Yuni Lee. In paintings that synchronize the complexities of the natural world and the technological, Lee creates work that is simultaneously exuberant and precise — a visual language built from color, pattern, and layered mark that finds beauty in what is both taken from and given back to us.

Tides of Equilibrium brings together over thirty new large-scale paintings that translate the familiar, strange, and elegant patterns of the world around us into a richly layered visual language. Drawing on the chromatic intensity of Beatriz Milhazes, the ambition of the Pattern & Decoration movement, and the ornamental traditions of Korean traditional painting, Lee synthesizes these influences into something entirely her own.

The title speaks to the emotional core of Lee’s practice: the search for balance in a world where the rhythms of the natural and the demands of the technological are in constant flux. Her paintings arrive at moments that feel both earned and fleeting, like a tide that has found, briefly, its level.

Yuliya Lanina
Broken Lullabies

May 16 – June 14, 2026

Yuliya Lanina, artwork from Broken Lullabies, 2026

Ro2 Art is proud to present Broken Lullabies, a solo exhibition of new work by Yuliya Lanina. In paintings that move between allegory, memory, and psychic theater, Lanina builds images that feel intimate, unstable, and charged with emotional tension.

Broken Lullabies brings together a body of work in which figuration becomes elastic and symbolic, allowing tenderness, estrangement, and dark humor to occupy the same pictorial space. Lanina’s compositions invite viewers into scenes that feel at once theatrical and deeply interior, where narrative fragments hover between dream, fable, and confession.

The exhibition reflects on vulnerability and transformation, using distorted bodies, lyrical color, and unsettling beauty to hold contradiction in suspension. Lanina’s paintings resist closure, offering instead a space where emotional complexity can remain visible and unresolved.
